Bruce Bates

Bruce has sat at the helm of Bates Trucking, a local minority owned waste and recycling company, for over 25 years and has been instrumental in his company’s organic growth- successfully growing a 10 truck operation into a 100 plus truck operation. With locations strategically placed within the DC-MD-VA market and a focus on the local business and residential community needs, Bates Trucking has positioned itself to be a convenient and logical choice for any waste or recycling, hauling or disposal need.

Bruce’s involvement and dedication in the local communities’ economic development and business mentoring initiatives is a testament to his commitment into hiring local and local business to business development. His years of industry experience and success as the CEO and President of Bates Trucking makes him a natural leader in the development and day to day operations of the WB Waste family of companies.

Michael Magee

Michael Magee joined the WB team in 2015 after spending most of his 37 years of professional experience with the largest companies in the waste industry. Over the years he developed a depth of diverse experience in many different markets around the country from the east coast to the west coast. He returns home to the DC market after living and working here in the early 1990’s where he first met Mr. Goode and Mr. Bates.

Herb Schoenberg

Carrie Love, Customer Service and Sales Manager

Carrie leads the Sales and Customer Service Teams at WB Waste Solutions. Her extensive career of direct business to business sales and account management in the local waste and recycling industry is evident in the principles of the WB Waste Sales and Customer Service Teams that are truly customer service centric.

Heinz Koebke, Transfer Stations Manger

Heinz has strengthened the WB Waste executive management team by contributing over 30 years of transfer station management experience. His dedication to his employees and customers, and their safety, along with his in depth knowledge of transfer station operational compliance continuously supports the founding partners’ vison of providing a safe, efficient, and compliant waste disposal and materials recovery service.

Heinz currently holds a degree in accounting and has served as a forensic accountant prior to his endeavors in the waste and recycling industry.

David Valdez, GM Landfills

David started his career in the waste industry over 25 years ago as a yard helper in a family owned business. His entire career has been in the waste industry with roles of Driver, Operations Supervisor and Manager, Account Executive, General Manager and District Manager. His experience and dedication in the industry make him a great asset to the team and instrumental in the construction and operation of Skinquarter Landfill.

David currently holds a Waste Management Facility Operator’s License regulated by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and is a member of the National Waste and Recycling Association.

Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste,Drugs or Pharmaceuticals, Antifreeze, Appliances containing CFC’s, Waste containing Asbestos Materials, Oils and Oil filters, Barrells, Batteries, Boats, Cars, Mobile Homes, Computers and Printers, Petroleum Contaminated Soil, Contaminated Dirt of any kind, Creosote type materials (Light or telephone poles, rail road ties), Dead Animals, Fluorescent lamps, Fuel or Chemicals, Oil based paint, Propane tanks, Septic tank waste, Tires, Fuel Tanks.
